Warwick --> Dairy Farm & Goomburra Nat'l Park

At first, the plan was to go camping in Goomburra park with a bunch of friends. But the weather didn't really turn out, so we decided to take all our swags and camping gear and go to our friend Lukas's house. Lukas lives on a dairy farm, so we spent the evening playing with one of the 7 dogs, squealing at pigs, getting nipped at my horses and their babies, learning how to milk a cow!, camping out in his living room, and having a bonfire. The farm was filled with baby animals, which is weird, because my head is thinking fall, but its really spring around here. An excellent alternative to camping :)

The next day we traveled and hiked around Goomburra National Park. My friends here are so nice and are willing to drive us internationals everywhere, and show us all the cool places to visit in the Darling Downs :)

Romatown!

As some of you may know, I have had a boyfriend named Myles since I've been abroad. Myles is sweet, hilarious, laid back, blunt, and he studies engineering. A couple weekends ago we went to his hometown Roma to visit and stay with his parents. It was a lot of fun to meet his parents and they were so incredibly kind to me. I even learned how to draw an Emu chalk picture with his mom! He is also part Aboriginal, and so I got to talk to his grandparents, see their artifacts, and listen to some of their stories. It was a fantastic experience, so much fun, and a good first hand look at Aussie life :)

Happy Halloween :)

Aussies aren't too big on Halloween, and anyone who celebrates it thinks the only way to dress up is SCARY! My friends and I went to our uni club for the night, but we all had finals and studying to do the next couple days and ended pretty early.
